I never watch MSNBC. But after the Wisconsin vote I decided to turn it on. Wow, I was shocked at all the falsehoods that I saw on the show. It didn’t even pretend to be news. I felt like I was watching a broadcast of the old Soviet Union’s TASS TV!
For example, they interviewed the head of a teachers union, but neglected to interview someone from the other side of the issue.
Anyway, Ol’ Ed decided to give it to the speculators on Wall Street. He is in the same company as Bill O’Reilly of Fox News. His guest was that market maven Bart Chilton of the CFTC.
Chilton said that speculators weren’t totally to blame, but that they were “tapping the gas pedal”. Chilton says demand is limited-yet everything we read is that demand is up, just like 2008!
They did talk about position limits. Position limits would cause prices to go higher, not lower. Position limits are not a panacea to setting lower prices.
I am glad Ed has such a small audience. There isn’t much real information there.
